ARTS for ALL Wisconsin

2023 CREATIVE POWER Awards Celebration

Join ARTS for ALL Wisconsin to celebrate the talents and accomplishments of people with disabilities in Wisconsin! We will honor our 2023 CREATIVE POWER award-winners and recognize teachers, artists, volunteers, and others at the beautiful new MYArts Center in Madison.

This year we will  recognize the Madison Vet Center (Outstanding Community Partner), Kimberly High School art teacher Miki Wise (Outstanding Educator), and longtime AFA volunteer classroom assistant Karie Berkley (Outstanding Volunteer). We will also present the UW-Madison Waisman Center with our 2023 Gratitude Award.

The celebration will include an awards ceremony featuring performances by musician Tony Memmel, Magic Morgan & Liliana, our Madison Choir, Madison Youth Choirs, a raffle with some awesome prizes, food from Great Dane Pub & Brewing, and more!

Our Story

Founded in 1985, ARTS for ALL Wisconsin is a statewide 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. For almost 40 years we have been guided by the belief that the arts are a universal and essential language that challenge people to respond to the world, look beyond themselves, and celebrate diversity by building bridges between people, across cultures and through generations. This foundational tenet is now more important than ever and we are determined to ensure that the power of the arts are accessible to people seeking equality, respect, and justice.

Our Mission

To expand the capabilities, confidence, and quality of life for children and adults with disabilities by providing programs in dance, drama, creative writing, music, and visual art.

We Believe

  • Experiences in the arts enhance personal growth, increase educational achievement, and enable career success
  • The arts are a universal and essential language that challenge people to respond to the world, look beyond themselves, and celebrate diversity by building bridges between people, across cultures and through generations
