"As a child, I was asked what autism meant and my answer was 'autism means happy'. I am very proud of myself and my unique ability to find joy and beauty in everything. I paint because I like painting very much & I paint because when people see my art they smile and say that it makes them happy. I want to make the whole world smile! I do lots of kinds of art. Some of my work is paint on canvas, but I also paint on cross-body bags, hats, shoes and other things, too. My art is always very bright and colorful. I like whimsical art. It has a lot of texture and sometimes has several mediums. I think my disability makes me see things differently. My paintings are different and beautiful, just like me!"
