Alicyn Stephens

Alicyn Stephens (she/her) is a dancer, dance educator, and current student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison pursuing a degree in Communication Sciences Disorders and certificates in Dance Movement Therapy and Promoting Activity for Diverse Abilities. Since 2017, she has worked as a Dance Teacher Substitute and Assistant at Elevation Dance Academy, where she began her training at a young age. As a student, Alicyn has trained in various aspects of Dance Movement Therapy and worked with students Madison-area schools and community centers, supported physical activity for individuals with disabilities in the UW Adaptive Fitness program, and participated as a choreographer in dancer in Optima Dance. Alicyn strives to create a welcoming and collaborative environment where everyone feels included and can explore movement in a way that is both engaging and fun.
