We're Planning Post-Pandemic Programs. Will you help?

As the landscape of COVID-19 continues to shift and vaccination rates increase, ARTS for ALL Wisconsin is assessing options for future programming, including the potential return of in-person programming in some form. We are looking to you -- participants, teaching artists, families, support agencies, everyone -- to help guide our efforts to offer programs and support that meet the needs of our communities.

Please share your thoughts and suggestions online about the future of programming at ARTS for ALL. You can also download and complete a printed copy. Please mail paper copies to our Madison Art Center at 1709 Aberg Avenue, Suite 1, Madison, WI 53704.

ARTS for ALL Wisconsin represents artists with disabilities at multiple venues and community events to showcase and sell their art. 70% of proceeds go directly to the artist. From our Gallery and Gift Shop at 1709 Aberg Avenue on Madison’s Northside, to the annual Art Fair on the Square, and Corporate and Community Exhibitions, ARTS for ALL Wisconsin facilitates exhibition and sales opportunities of exemplary, original artworks by artists with disabilities.

Exhibitions and sales events provide emerging artists with disabilities a boost to their self-esteem and self-worth, a means to grow towards independence and self-sufficiency, and to establish a larger sense of creative self that is distinct from their disability.

Exhibitions and sales events also provide the public with a strong and striking example of what people with disabilities can achieve in creating objects of beauty, imbued with meaning, and valued by others. From this standpoint, this art is an invaluable means of public education, disability awareness, and a bridge connecting the social divide between people of all abilities.

“The biggest compliment you can get is when someone likes your work, and then they want to own your work, and live with your work – you just become part of their life.”

- Fred Seger, AFA Artist

"It continues to amaze me how much my artwork has taken off since associating with ARTS for ALL Wisconsin. It is such a wonderful experience that is a result of becoming labeled as an artist through AFA. I am now defined more than ever by my ability rather than disability."

- Dan Sullivan, AFA Artist and wood scupltor
