Arts Classes


Explore the creative arts through classes and workshops in visual art, movement/dance, drama and music. Classes are taught by professional teaching artists. Join us for classes in visual arts including watercolors, acrylic painting, mixed media sculpting and photography and music and movement classes including drumming, singing, dancing, exploring a large variety of musical instruments and props, and much, much more!

Spring Classes (March 8 - April 30)

As we continue to assess the needs of our community, we have created clearer ways to describe the engagement and learning experiences that participants can expect from our Virtual Arts Classes.

Arts Exploration Classes (AE)

Experiential programs focused on enjoying connection with the art form, materials, and one another. Designed for participants who enjoy open-ended creative discovery.

Creative Technique Classes (CT)

Instructional programs focused on building skills, techniques, and comfort with the art form. Designed for participants who enjoy in-depth explorations or structured lessons.


Adult (Ages 16+)

Participants will have the chance to experience new methods of self-expression or revisit old skills in a range of arts disciplines. Classes offer many accessibility supports to ensure equitable participation.

Music Exploration (AE)

Music with Junko

Join us for this joyful journey in music exploration! We will sing and use homemade instruments to connect with one another and make music together.

Printing and Stenciling on Fabric (CT)

Visual Art with Patrizia

In this workshop students will learn different ways to create their own stamps and stencils out of different materials and learn to print and create rhythms on both paper and fabric.

Just Dance! (AE)

Dance with Luv

Participants will have the opportunity to dance together (virtually) to their favorite music. The class will begin with the structure to warm up and provide opportunity for creative expression and exploration.

Know My Space - Know Myself (AE)

Creative Writing with Beth

We will gather and use nature, landscape and homespace to connect to ourselves, each other and the world. There will be times of reflecting, writing and sharing.

This will be exploratory! Bring your interests and curiosities about:

*Poetry (Nope! Does not have to rhyme)
*Visuals (photographs, landscape outside a window)
*Being still and quiet and reflective at times during the class

Floral Explosion (AE)

Join me as we embark ourselves in a new season to create all things flower! We will paint them, cut them, print them and even make sculptures or gardens! Lots of fun to be had as we dream about Spring and the blooming season.

Grab your drums and shakers and explore themes and popular music along with Jim. Enjoy the music – express yourself – get some great exercise – and have lots of fun!

Mr. Mike's Music Club (AE)

Music with Mike

Let's all sing the songs we love! We'll do old favorites, new hits, seasonal songs, music to learn by and much more. We'll make new friends, watch fun videos together, and share our lives in song as we stay warm and safe.
