Cattle Call (for Art)*

ARTS for ALL Wisconsin is holding its first ever Cattle Call for Art this fall, inviting artists with disabilities ages 5 and up to submit cow-themed art to be featured during the 2nd Annual ARTS for ALL Wisconsin Telethon. Select works will be up for sale in conjunction with the event.

 

Guidelines for Entry:

 

  • Open to any person with a disability age 5 or older currently residing in Wisconsin
  • Each individual may submit up to two artworks
  • Artwork should be on the theme of Cattle, Cows, Dairy Farming, or similar
  • Each artwork must be submitted electronically with photos of the original art at artsforallwi.org/cattle-call (see form below). For tips on how to photograph your art check out the video we made for the 2021 Call for Art on YouTube
  • Artwork may not be larger than 28 x 36 inches or heavier than 20 pounds
  • Artwork must be created by the artist (assistance, as necessary, is acceptable)
  • Artwork must be original, not a copy or reproduction.
  • Each artist should submit a brief written statement on what art means to you, why you create, and your inspiration for the artwork submitted
  • Select artwork will be part of our Cattle Call exhibition at the ARTS for ALL Wisconsin Gallery in Madison, opening with Fall Gallery Night on November 12 and running through the end of the year. It will also be featured as part of our 2nd Annual ARTS for ALL Wisconsin Telethon on November 13
  • Artwork selected for inclusion in the gallery show must be available for shipment, pickup, or dropoff no later than November 5
  • With the permission of the artist selected artwork can be available for sale to the public with 70% of proceeds going directly to the artist
