How you can help
ARTS for ALL Wisconsin is actively responding to COVID-19 and
its effect on our operations and ability to fulfill our mission to serve people
with disabilities in Wisconsin. We have canceled Art Center classes in
Madison, suspended choir rehearsals and performances in all communities, and paused
Artist Residencies throughout the state until further notice.
While such cessation of public and group activities is vital
and in line with the public response to COVID-19, we feel that it is also an
essential response to protect the hundreds of people with disabilities that we
serve. Our programming also supports many people with mental health challenges, and
we don't want to let them down by cutting even more programming.
Our response demands that we consider the financial
stability of our organization while working to provide programming to the
people we serve. Evidence demonstrates that they need us now more than ever. We
are seeking support for teaching artists to create online experiences for all
existing programs, including Art Center classes, Artist Residencies, and our
Vets’ Arts Studios. We are also working to create virtual guides in DIY
adaptive techniques for caregivers and companions whose positive connections to
people with disabilities is now even more crucial.
Today we are asking for your help.
Can you help us cover the cost of canceled Artist Residencies? Can you help us honor all teaching artist contracts? Will you help us ensure that as an organization serving Wisconsin for 35 years that we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic healthy and strong by keeping our financial stability in tact?
We thank you for your continued support. For more information on how the CARES Act encourages charitable giving see our information sheet here or under Useful Links.
