Katie Swanson

Katie Swanson holds a BFA in drawing from UW-Whitewater and works as a drawing and painting instructor in Janesville. She creates in a variety of media, including watercolor, pastel, acrylic, pencil, ceramics, and print. Her work explores the relationships in her life, particularly her portraits which reflect on themes of family, identity, and self.

"I’ve been making art since I was very little. I’ve always done it as a form of therapy and then now as a side career. It’s also my passion I learn about art a lot in my life and studied it in college where I was he drawing BFA I currently do all kinds of our including drawing, painting, ceramics and print making."
